Background: After attending the Passion of the Christ with a friend from First Family Church in 2004, Paul came to know the Lord as his Savior. He has been worshiping God there ever since. He is attending Cal State East Bay to finish his bachelor's degree and is very excited about attending seminary after completing his undergraduate studies.
Ministry: Paul has a passion for preaching the Gospel and in helping people develop their walks with the Lord. He is the administrative Pastor and he has been leading Lifeline, the junior high youth group at FFC, for the last 4 years and has been involved with that ministry for 6 years. He also is passionate about teaching and studying theology and apologetics.
Family: Paul met his wife Anna in the summer of 2007 at FFC and knew she was the woman God intended for him to marry. They were engaged in November 2007 and married in July of 2008. Anna helps Paul with Lifeline on Sunday mornings and Tuesday nights. They have been blessed with one son - Silas Daniel Abeyta in July of 2010. They are, Lord-willing, hoping to have a large family and hope to be able to adopt in the future.
