Our Mission

Kenya Evangelical Mission, Kangundo, Kenya was born in 1988 when Hoyt and Lois Osborne left family and friends, jobs and income, and all that they had to follow the Lord's direction to bring Christ to the Kamba people in Kenya by moving there and living where the people live.

They have adopted many Kenyan children as their own, and have given their lives for the people, sharing the Gospel, building churches, schools and a Bible College with a fully trained staff of pastors and teachers who are able to continue the work when the Osbornes are traveling. Hoyt and Lois Osborne are missionaries in Kangundo, Kenya, a small town about 50 miles southeast of Nairobi. Their house is on Hospital Hill with wide views of the beautiful countryside. Kilima Mbogo mountain (Mountain of the Cape Buffalo) rises nearby above the African plateau. »continued
